Hi,

I happen to own 5 Barry Drum Company vintage snare drums from 1920´s...can anyone share some light about the rarity of these snares, are they highly sought collection items and if you have pictures to share please post them. Thanks...

The drum on the bottom of the first image and also in the fifth image appears to have modern lugs and double or triple flanged counterhoops top and bottom which look like they were cast. Even if that shell is from the 1920's I'm assuming the hardware isn't.

The bottom drum looks Gretsch-y. Aren't those Rocket lugs?

I found out from another good contact that the 14x6,5 snare has Gretsch art deco lugs...so this must be missing the original hardware and hoops was replaced with die-cast hoops....
