Type I,II,III old K s

It's odd on his YouTube site he names an Intermediate 1628g 20" a couple times; Think It could be an Intermediate.

The location of the star is higher above the crescent than it would be on the intermediate. So I think not. One thing I can tell you is that I was with him when he was buying old cymbals at the drum show. He brought out a 22" A. he had just gotten. It was in fact trans stamp, but he disagreed, only until somebody informed him that I was actually the originator of cymbal timeline. He didn't know me at that time, but he acquiesced after hearing that. I mention this only to point out that he's not exactly a trademark expert so I wouldn't put too much stock in his "intermediate" claim.

By the way, his official name is: Nick "paper-thin" Bruschi.

See what I'm getting at? Old Ks you can't pick them. They pick you. (Unless of course you dedicate your life to picking them...)

yes! Love this! And once they show up you have to learn who/what they are, how to play them, when to use them.

I'm not an expert by any means, but I have researched for Ks from many years now. Had and have many of them, mostly Old Stamps.

I still think the one in the video is an Intermediate stamp.. The star is higher than in the types III, but in the Intermediate stamp the star is there. But anyway, the thing that makes me tell is an intermediate is because you can see (not really good, actually) the turkish writing, and definitely looks like the Intermediate stamp type.

I don't know what happen because I can't post pictures..I tried several times but the site doesn't allow me..

Your pics must be too large for the site`s size restrictions...You will need to resize them to be able to post them...

I use this site:

I don't understand what you mean, the guy who posted the videos is the same guy that named all the old K stamps. He pioneered naming K and A Zildjian stamps. Zildjian missed the boat.

I know who is Bill and I have a big respect for his work. But he is human and can have a little mistake, as I can or anybody else.

I'm only giving my opinion and tried to defend it with arguments, most of them based on his work.

I think this forum propose is a place to talk about experiences and opinions with these amazing instruments that we love. I'm not trying to annoy or disrespect anybody, I'm only giving my opinion.

You do have merit. He did admit he was wrong,....once.

He indicated the star was the given, I think.

It doesn't matter what it is. Besides a 1628g old K.

He plays a 1628g old K two other times on his you tube page

again that doesn't mean it's that one.

his official name is: Nick "paper-thin" Bruschi.

I think it is even though all 4 videos are played at different angles. it goes dead just as fast.

There's a edge crack in it.

To be sure one would need to see it's sound on a graph recorder. (like one of those EKG heart thingy's)
