You just made my day! The only thing that could make it better is the Astros beating the Yankees.Bowing
I'm sure that's a typo. I know you meant the Yankees beating the Astros.
Ha, no typo, the Yankees are just lucky they don't have to face the best pitcher in baseball until the third game.

Has the best pitcher in baseball won every game he's pitched this year? And if the Yankees can win the first two in Houston, I'm not going to worry too much about the potential outcome of the third game.
Cole finished the 2019 season with a 20–5 record, 2.50 ERA, 326 strikeouts (leading the major leagues), the best strikeout percentage in the major leagues (39.9%), led the majors with 13.818 strikeouts per nine innings, and a 0.895 WHIP.
With Verlander pitching the second game and Cole the third, there's a real good chance the Yankees will be in the hole by game 4.
These are the two best teams in baseball, this is the "Real" World Series.

You could be right, but I started following the World series in 1953 when I was 7 years old. And after 66 world series, not to mention division and pennant races, the one immutable fact is that nothing is guaranteed, and no matter how well a team or individuals played during the regular season, in a short post season series surprises can, and will, happen. And even if the Astros should by some miracle beat the Yankees, it will be for naught, because I think this is the Nationals' year.
I agree with everything you said, except for the last part, whoever wins the American league pennant, will go on to win the World Series.
Did I miss the posting, or has no one else notice there are replacement spurs on the bass?
I noticed that too. Pretty disappointing since, as far as retractable BD spurs go, Rogers were the best/sturdiest IMHO.
I've seen the odd MIJ snare listed for $300.00 or $500.00 up here in Canada...maybe thought about letting the seller know what's up, but decided against it, mostly out of laziness, but also you never know if you'll get some sort of psycho reply (ahem), and who needs that energy?
So I salute the dudes here who take the time to politely offer their knowledge - after all, private email or no, when you list an item for sale, you're putting yourself out there in the public realm. A reasonable inquiry as to how your price was arrived at shouldn't be cause for total mental breakdown...:)

Or perhaps not in the hole by game 4. The Yanks just won the first game 7 to 0 on Houston's home turf. They completely dominated during the entire game. Like I said, in a short series, anything can happen.
Ya, they pretty much stunk, their bats forgot to show up. Maybe it's the Yankees year.
Care factor?....... sigh.
