This is very funny. I hope that the drummer was OK

Go find another drummer. Look how they all ran to help him--the rest of the band and the congregation. A biker bar or even a *** bar would have half the people helping him within five seconds.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Being ***ish, I never had the displeasure of playing bastardized country rock at a worship service. Many, if not most, ***ish congregations do not permit musical instruments being played in the sanctuary during Sabbath services. It's all a matter of tradition. Some of the more modern reformed congregations do allow some musical instruments during worship services. What gives here? I am of the Hebraic persuasion. Why can't I say that I'm J-e-w-i-s-h without the word being censored? OK... I can almost understand someone censoring the term g-a-y- bar. But I think even that is over-reach

However... I will abide by the rules of the group even if I take issue as noted above.

Very strange. The guy could have been impaled or crushed and no one did anything but stare. No one seemed particularly concerned or upset.

I thought the same thing. Nobody seemed to be in much of a rush to help the poor guy. That thing was probably pretty heavy.
