Thanks Jeff, I'm by no means an expert on Rogers drums, but I do know any era Rogers drums will sound great. In case you're wondering, I use coated Ambassadors or clear dot heads all around with only the batter side of the kick muffled with a felt strip. I'm looking foward to seeing your kit.

So I bought the drums, Im wondering if i did good or not. I am getting a 14x22 bass drum, its missing 3 rods/claws, 16" FT missing legs and hoops, 9x13 complete and an additional 9x13 Dayton shell. An I will need the tom arm, the post that goes into the bass drum is included.

Lugs and leg mounts come with the 16

No more then $250 to me with the work needed.

I'm not crazy about project kits, especially when you have to find lugs and re-wrap. I wouldn't had bought that for more than $100.

Well I paid $175 for those drums. I do like restoration projects and thought it was a good deal. My last Rogers kit that I refurbished was those xp8 drums that I put the KOA veneer on. I paid $100 for those drums and sold them for much much more than that. I always thought that the script badge Rogers we're much more desirable then the Big R and xp8 drums. Knowing what I know now I probably won't put a expensive veneer on these drums, probably go with something like mahogany or maple.
