Rogers Fullerton, good or not?

From larryz

Jeff! I thought you were liquidating the drums. :)

I am selling off some of my drums but lately I have done a couple of snare projects that have brought me back into restoring drums again. I saw this Rogers kit and thought it would be fun to do another veneer job. I have accumulated most of the missing parts for this project now all I need is time.

Thank you!

Thank you very much, I look forward to sharing the results. Think I will get some heads and play these while I stew over what wood species to go with, right now walnut is sounding good.

Thank you!

Well, Im going to disappoint some people but I have decided to leave the drums as they are, at least for a while. I keep looking at the bass and the 13" and they look so nice I just hate to tear off that vintage wrap. Plus I priced a sheet of KOA veneer and it was close to 400.00. So now I am gathering up the last few parts I need to get them set up. I do have an extra bass drum(26") with a million holes in it and a 13" shell with some wrap that has been sanded. I might look for a floor tom and parts for the 13 and restore those.

Thank you!

Hi JC!

Send the pictures to my personal email and I'll get them sized for VDF and post them for you.

Mark, it's not a size issue I set the camera to 3mp. I go through the steps under the manage attachment button, it shows up there but not in the post. I did the same thing on DFO and it was easy and it worked

Thank you!
