Maybe that’s how he gets bragging rights

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
At that point, why even bother with an asking price? That guy is basically just saying "Look at this cool kit I have and you don't and you can never afford it! Ha ha ha ha ha!".
Seriously, unless he added two extra zeros by mistake, the guy is just trolling us.
That guys a fool. Never sells anything. All his prices are just stupid. Like him.So I offered him 250
This type of uncivil slaughter is the reason I've pretty much left this forum in the dust. A ribbing, sure. "Fool"; "Stupid"? Grow some %^#&*&% manners, boy! Would you EVER speak to anyone like this in person. You'd find out fast that your mouth will take you places you never imagined, fast.
What does the price matter???
I know the seller through the trade and he often has $hit you'll never even be in the same room with.
The sale will make morons out of all of you. I know, because I've had the same sort of chatter about some of the drums I've had for sale, that are up now, and will be up in the future.
This sellers COMPLETE 1963 OBP Downbeat with a JF with the MUFFLER / BADGE / THROW in the right place, a mere 1/4" off of Ringo's 5.5" JF, + all the other "POINTS" (if you even know what they are - doubt it!) is the Hope Diamond in the rough. You've got chump change at best; nickel and dime crap just to buy more nickel and dime crap.
Fact is, you couldn't make sense from a nickel.
You cannot possibly swing with the big boys so you nip at their ankles. Go ahead and nip at mine ~
Seriously, unless he added two extra zeros by mistake, the guy is just trolling us.
Real sorry : but the trolls are you and not the seller.
Hobbs you know as well as I do that if someone wants it they will pay for it I have been laughed at for my extreme pricing but as you say there are certain instruments that are one of
, being that , if I had that kit I’d be bragging with it also as I said earlier that snare alone is worth a huge premium but then again who would know there are only 7 know to exist !
All the best

Morning Gary,
The snare alone is minimum 30k. Consider those ridiculous reissue Ringo JF's with his autograph selling for 30k (pure rubbish; I'd vomit if I'd paid that on a drunken whim) ... and then rocket up from there (pun intended).
A FULL '63 mother&^%#*@ kit that came together????? Shut up!
Even if I didn't know the seller I'd be writing the EXACT same things.
Hey Hobbs
Take YOUR opinion and STICK IT.
Just like you told me to do with mine.
WHO are you?
The guru of all things vintage?
I think not.
Have a nice day buddy.
So you don't deny it. O. Sounds like your hands are sticky now. From what? Only you can say. Maybe the S&IT was not quite tough enough? More solids maybe ?..
Your question implies that you sure as $hit consider yourself one big injun. What an A-hole!
Calm down, fellas. None of it even matters. It's a cool drum set at a high asking price. This is a drum discussion forum and something like this is going to generate comments. But let's not insult each other on a personal level, okay?
