New drum coming

From ARCHxANGEL

KCDrumDad - That is the only other snare I've seen with the Rocket badge. I'll have to find the photos of mine, but it also has a very unusual wrap. And interestingly enough, Kenwood has a kit in the same wrap as my snare. Yours is Red Diamond pearl correct? ( is that the actual name for that wrap?? )

I happened to run across this kit with the Rocket badge. Nice wrap, too!

Jeff very cool snare! congrats. Any interior pictures of the clamshell strainer? Interested to know if it works the same as the Slingerland version. Thx.

Glenn.

Oh Heck yes Jeff

that floor tom is with it's new family

they are displayed together on the very top shelf

almost out of frame to the right in the pic here

I am short a few rods and other minor things on that kit

Jay here are those Norma drums in that same wrap

The nice blue on mine is faded to a greenish grey

everywhere save for the hoops and under the lugs

in fact the color is faded so much

that the wood grain can been seen underneath the wrap

That';s right, you have the same wrap different badge. OldSchool, where did you happen across the full kit? Same finish as my snare, one of the more unique ones ( I'm not even sure what the name for it is ) Does anyone here?

So it has no rerings? I'd probably be working on that...There are companies making rerings, solid and ply for reasonable money.

Tom, I have been toying with the idea of installing rings and re-doing the edges in a 30 degree round over. The drum sounds pretty good but I think that would improve it. With it being a 8 lugger and such solid hardware it might be worth it.

Thank you!

I did some searching, not finding reinforcement rings for sale, just as a service. If I do find them I wonder what size to get?

Thank you!

Hey Jeff,

I finally got around to taking that picture of my Gracy. Darn close for sure, almost a "stencil" of yours. Is that why they call them that?
