Looks like an "Epoimi" from Russia. Hopefully Father 42, the resident eastern Europe percussion expert, will chime in. Those medium toned pearls, especially green, indicate the horn-playing mermaid.

Those look like pro level, no matter how cheap! The wood is quality, the hardware abundant...those are a diamond I suspect. Cheers, and good luck! You got a deal there! I'll bet new heads a good cleaning and tune up and they will rock!

Here is mine. I have mine sounding good enough to perform live with it. Same wrap I think. Mine is 3 ply with rerings. Stewart. I have the matching set too. Lots of fun to play and beautiful.

You almost guessed right, buddy... :)

It's drums from Riga - the former capital of Soviet Latvia.

This kit was produced by "RMIF" - big musical factory which now ruined.

I dated this set 80-90's.

At the pic you see last version of drums, include very good parallel action snare drum with brain-breaking drop mechanism... :)

This drums also have had an export version was called "ARTA" which have a good chrome coated parts.

Stands on pic are unknown modern model.

Cheers,

George.
