Vintage 1960's? Leedy floor tom drum in sparkling gold pearl.

The badge with the 48 postal code is '62 and up. Leedy toms did not have badges from '61-mid '66 so either someone added the badge or the date stamp is not OCT 1961.

That`s an easy one.

The badge was tampered with, the factory stamp was not.

Looking at that paint job, I`d say the badge is lighter blue too.

I don`t see the 48 either, it may be possibly an order cancelled and sent out later. But, wasn`t the badge without the postal 48 a much lighter blue ? This I swear is the darker gunmetal blue badge from 60+

From what I researched the badge is the blue one without the 48 that would have been used in the 1957-1962 period, according to one website (I forget which one). There is of course the possibility that someone switched the badges during or after a restoration project.

P-0x0 stamp used later 1960 and earlier (per Dr CJ Wenk). Date stamp is not legible to 100% accuracy. Drum has definitely been tampered with. All details considered; '58-'60.

It`s 1961, the 19 we know for sure, there is only one numeral that shapes to the 6 and the 1 is a straight line not a 7. Only one Month abbreviated as so, OCT.
