New Rogers Dynasonics Last viewed: 2 days ago

Does anyone know if there is a plan to phase in a beavertail version of the new Dynasonic, or whether or not they plan to widen the choice of wraps? I could be tempted to buy a 5x14 in a sparkle or onyx wrap given the $799 price tag.

I see they mention Silver Sparkle as one of the three finishes being available... might need to go to the horses mouth. Contact Us: contactrogers@rogersdrumsusa.com Clapping Happy2

Dan!

Here's the website... http://www.rogersdrumsusa.com/

They are showing Beavertail lugs for snare drums, so I would think that the possibility to purchase a Dynasonic with these lugs is real. The only difference is drilling the shell for the different lug spacing. Speaking only for myself, I'd prefer a Dynasonic with Beavertail lugs vs B&B lugs.

Hey Mark,

Thanks for that link. The drum sounds fantastic in advert video. I a bit pysch'd even though I have two of the originals! I'm with you, I want the beavertails.

I sent your question off to contactrogers@rogersdrumsusa.com with a link to the thread.

Really just curious to see if, how and when they might respond to a customer inquiry. Coffee Break2

And they even got the "individual snare tension adjustment" wrong. I heard Steve Maxwell giving a demo and just shook my head... you can't adjust the snare tension... that's the whole point of the frame!
