Will post vid in a few.

I've managed to get decent sound with the new snare cradle.

Not a holy grail moment ,but way better than any other stock Dyna I've played.

I'm not a fan of the QA on the new bottom snare side hoop either.

The chrome plating looks a bit cheap.

Nowhere near the original Rogers stuff.

Got a package from Columbia Illinois with the replacement rubber bumpers.

I recently saw black lacquer Dynasonic reissue 6½x14 online at Sweetwater, and now I see Big Bang Dist has 'Beavertail' lug models listed in two of the original pearl finishes (WMP, BDP) plus Red Onyx.

More options = more :)

Wow, the Black Lacquer one looks just fantastic!

Now, to my originally intended question: Does anyone know of an official EU distributor for these drums? If I can scrape together the money, this would be my dream snare.

I think I would like a 6.5 deep in BL. Any thoughts to the depths?

Best,

Magnus

Bread and Butter Lugs

This was a short run. I have heard there will be some drums in B. L. that will have beavertails. I do not know about European releases.... but any way you can get one shipped... it will not disappoint.

Thanks, Ploughman, I will certainly smile if and when I get one of those - probably in 6.5 though, since I kind of like the bigger sound of my 6.5 Big R COB. Those Black Gloss ones are astounding! Is it yours in the pic?

Best,

Magnus
