Trump Drums...you can't make this stuff up.

The style of lugs and snare throw-off of this Trump kit suggest Star, around 1967.

$400 is a lot with for only 3 pieces in an a fairly common MIJ finish. So many of those "Club Date" style MIJ kits came without floor toms. I wonder why?

Hello vyacheslav

You are so right about the number of little center lugger kits having come through with no floor tom

I have been looking for three years for just a floor tom in red marine pearl

to complete a little U.S. Mercury (foil badge and non-Star Hoshinio made) 3 piece

But tonight I found this whole Tele-Star kit

the drums were being sold individually but the seller accepted my 250.00 offer for all four

They are scuffed and pitted and plenty sweaty but they are complete and 100% original

That's a great score, Kenwood!

I remember seeing perhaps that same kit on the Bay a few years ago (I remember the wrap and the gigantic logos on the heads). I seem to remember that one was missing one of the hoop inlays. Looks like yours has the cymbal arm too.

Enjoy them!

Hello vyacheslav Thanks man

these have both inlays on the bass

Interesting factory mismatch here the bass has Gretsch like lugs (just like the Trump snare)

While the lugs on the two toms and snare are more Slingerland-like

Cool kit. Kenwood strikes again. You must be getting dangerously close to needing another warehouse. Cool1

I agree way too ironic! I was tempted to buy a snare to bring to one of his campaign rallies to see if I could get him to sign it when he was running and signing autographs like a rock star. I looked at the kit on the bay.... $ 300 !!!And the statement of the badges going for $100Sorry guys, as we stated in the MIJ thread about the crazy increase in prices for a stencil kit , I wouldn't waste $300 on a Trump kit. I could add a really nice vintage snare to my collection for that amount. Michael

The badge is sooo real: "A bunch of wildcards around a JOKER"

Keep fixing them up...
