I saw that decal too...a must have accessory for any Trump kit! I'm thinking some bass drum LED lighting could illuminate the hair bright orange...EPIC!

Alas, $400 might be a bit much for a conversation piece, especially one that will tick off half of the people who see it...technically 46.4% of the people who see it.

Stop stringing and tuning your instrument, make music now.

I have this Trump snare drum I paid 125.00 shipped for it

It came in its original carrying case with snare stand and some vintage Fibes drum sticks

it is in decent condition but with some non original wing nuts on both the strainer lever and the butt end

as can be seen, it also has no grommet on the Trump badge

something I have noticed also on cousin snares badged Del Ray and Norma

on the subject three piece orange sparkle center lugger

I offered that seller 300.00 plus his 75.00 shipping and he declined

And while current timing makes it a novelty that they are badged Trump with reference to the president

I think the badges are just as cool because A. they are fairly rare

and B. because of the colorful hand of cards and the Trump label with the intended reference to card playing

Cool package Kenwood, and get a load of that knock-off Gretsch tension casing!

Nice snare kenwood, I like the wrap.

I noticed the same lack of a grommet on my Del Rays and Normas. Figured it was an easy way to cut costs for the mfg.

i did bid on a few Trump's due to the badge being so cool but never won one. Now they are asking too much IMHO. maybe one will come up with a cool wrap I can add to the collection.

PS, I still want to do a road trip to see the new warehouse and collection ! Let me know when your fully settled in and ready for a visit.

No Guru - I just love collecting & learning about vintage drums!

Some of my favorites from the kits in the collection
58 WFL New Yorker Blue Sparkle
67 Ludwig Hollywood Red Psychedelic
69 Ludwig Standard Red Ruby Strata
70's Ludwig BOP "Ringo" Kit

A few of my favorite snares
20's Leedy Black Elite
51 Leedy & Ludwig Knob Tension

I'd love to find a Trump kit, I'd have a huge Trump logo on the kick head and play it at every gig!

Neat kit with appropriate wrap. I'd play it just to make snowflakes melt.

Hey Bob, I agree and am also not a political guy. But maybe one of these will help the kit to sell for the ridiculous price they are asking . . . Donald Trump vinyl decal for your drum kit https://www.ebay.com/itm/Donald-Trump-vinyl-decal-for-your-drum-kit-so-you-can-pound-him-in-the-face/192079942801?hash=item2cb8db5491:g:SEIAAOSwo4pYfPCC&vxp=mtrLaughing H

Michael, I am highly political, but respect the differing opinions of others (even though I think some of them are crazy!). Maybe the seller should advertise that set in a state heavy with Trump supporters.

$400 is a lot with for only 3 pieces in an a fairly common MIJ finish.

So many of those "Club Date" style MIJ kits came without floor toms. I wonder why?

Hello Dan and Ct Mike

Thanks for the replies fellas

Dan yes I love the Gretsch -like lugs

I have still not nailed down the factory responsible for making them

Although I do lean heavily toward Star

Mike I have a friend out in Jersey who sold that snare to me

I have bought gear from him and he has helped me snag things being sold by others in his area the Trump snare was his I paid for it back in the summer some time and he sat on it until this past Monday

I was going through New Jersey on a job to Reading PA and we hooked up just off the Garden state. On the way back from PA I also stopped in Danbury Ct for a bunch of drums

most notably this gold Hoshino badged kit

22" 12"13" and 16"x's 2 the snare is just a pearl mit stencil

With regard to the shop It would be my pleasure to have you stop

It may never be quite finished but don't let that stop you

I did give you my cell number way back when ..just message me if you need it again ..
