John Grey Broadway Snare Question...

Loading...

Hello,

I have an early 60's John Grey Broadway snare, love it. However, the snare throw off is getting tired, doesn't work so well. Still looks great though, butt plate is fine.

I want to find an aftermarket replacement throw off/butt plate combo. Anyone know of any that would work with the existing hole patterns? I REALLY want to avoid drilling any new holes, so if I ever decide to sell, I can just put the originals back on.

I've included some pictures. Holes are side by side, for both the throw off and butt plate, and holes are an inch apart.

Any ideas?

Yeah, I REALLY love the Brit's designs from that era. The lugs are amazing. Thanks again for the information.

Here is a but with 1" spacing.

Now,...... the items I found were just quick searches.

DFD may have more that work.

They are a reliable company.
