Funny, I've known Ronn Dunnett for a long time now. I actually texted him earlier today, asking him about this. I was actually considering getting his R4 throw off, with butt plate. I can get it at a good deal, it works really great, and probably worth the two extra holes. I'd leave the original holes unplugged, so the old gear can be put back on.
