Premier 60's Bop project

Well, I've been asked to do something like that before but I simply don't have the time.

I spend my time playing my jazz gigs, writing and arranging music, teaching ensembles and giving private instruction. I'm getting a new degree in musical performance starting this fall and I still have to find some time to ride my bicycle and be with my girlfriend... I wish my days would have something like 48 hours then I could write a book! :D

I'm sure someone is coming out with such a book pretty soon. And I'll buy it for sure!

Thanks!

Screw writing a book.. I wish i had that much time for drums and music!! I wish I started playing before i graduated high school and got married(love being married by the way) but i would have done things different and made music a bigger part of my life. I still teach one day a week at the local music store and play out when i can, but I just can't seem to get enough!!!!

I wish I had started earlier too but thank you for putting it in a new perspective.

Thanks!

It wasn't really intended to be to philosophical. Just saying music is a gift and a passion that few people have the privelege of experiencing, let alone making a career out of(it's getting harder and harder to do). I try to fit in as much and as often as i can and count that a blessing!!D' Drummer

I LOVE old Premier kits. Those are real show stoppers! Great work. They just look like they'd be so fun to play. The old Premiers are just top-notch drums.

Jcymbal,

Did you reuse the grommets when you re-attached the Premier badges or did you get new ones? If they are new where did you get them and what size are they? I have recovered a 1958 Premier and have been waiting to put the badges back on but can not find the correct grommet for them. Please advise and WOW does that kit look amazing!!!!Cool1
