I haven't been to The Time Machine in some years. Actually just found myself thinking of Shelton Railroad Systems. That store was the best ( at least in this area ) You name it, they had it. I was sad when they closed shop in 2004. Places like Hobby Town just don't do it. Same as with most chains, most of the staff isn't aware of a lot of things. Ah well. Great to see what others on this forum do in their spare time.

SO much cool talent here. Especially Fade's woodworking. Amazing stuff.
I'm just a runner. In my 50's and I do 70 miles a week. It just makes me feel like a kid and I love being outdoors. Recovery is a bit longer these days. And collecting vinyl. Beatles, when i can afford it.
Vinyl is something I'd love to get more into at some point. Have a massive CD collection, but there a few that just don't translate. And some of these new masters kill me. Thankfully of the three Vinyl records I own - one is Sgt.Peppers with everything original. Sleeve, inserts, plastic covering. Every so often I need to listen, and man blows the cd away.

I inherited a large vinyl collection when my father passed. Lots of original editions of some now classic albums, including Sgt Pepper, with all the trinkets as yours.
Matter of fact, I may be one of the few that has a home stereo system that can play just about every media format. Its vintage equipment, but I like it that way. I've got lots of vinyl (LPs, 45s, and a couple of 78s), quite a few cassette tapes still, some 8-track tapes, a small but ever expanding reel-to-reel tape collection, cds, and of course many mp3s on the ipod as well. Its nice to have options ;)
Well let's see.. I have collected HO trains.. still have a bunch and some old Aurora cars. All boxed up now... but I would like to build another layout if I ever have grand kids
I was helicopter pilot in the Army... I am commercial instrument rated in rotary and fixed wing and used to do a lot of recreation flying. Had kids and got out of the Army after the first gulf war.. medical has expired don't fly anymore. Probably VFR recreation flying again after I retire next year.
I have a couple motorcycles used to be my only transportation so I would ride everyday all seasons... don't do that anymore.. again I'll drag out the old Sporty after I retire and get her running again.
I bought a couple R/C models and messed with that for a bit... that was really fun!! I wouldn't mind trying some drone stuff.. that looks interesting.
I got a 10" Dobsonian telescope... enjoyed star gazing a lot!
I was a real good foosball player (still have my table) and I was pretty decent at ping-pong.
I bought a nice camera when I was in the Army and used to take lots of pictures... in the air and on the ground. My wife replace my old SLR with a digital camera... so I might take a class or two at the local community college and try to proficient with this camera.
I just took up the banjo...bought a Deering Goodtime resonator and I am taking lessons and enjoying that... I suck!
We live in an old house so I always have some project going... refinishing the hardwood floors right now... this is never ending.
I am season ticket holder for our local pro soccer team... I played in college and coached for a local club for a bit... I enjoy soccer.
We ski, kayak, camp, hike, ride bikes... a little bit of each.
My wife wants me to join a mixed doubles tennis league with her... that's a big maybe right now. ;)
A lot of time goes into the band right now... so it is really my most consuming hobby right now.
I design furniture and lighting. Sort of a quasi-profession at this point. If you know anyone hiring in the south Chicago area, let me know. I'm a construction estimator 9-5. I can take or leave it.

Cool thread and great things all are up to. Where to begin:-)
Model Rockets, small canons.
EM arcade games. Speedway/State Fair rifle. So far. Looking for Sea Hunt. Submarine game.
Soda machines, Not sure how many have at least 9. Some but not all Square Tops.
Candy/peanut/gum machines lost track.
Vintage toys, Aurora, Marx trains, Red Line Hot Wheels...
Sorting through a 1000+ bunch of 78's just killer stuff there.
Whole bunch of other stuff I forget.
Did the car thing. Darn hands not what they where and has gotten serious spendy.

I have more hobbies than time, not to mention money...
But vintage watchmaking, not super old but I like 60's-70's stuff mainly.
Freestyle bikes from the 80's. I could still do a few decent tricks last time I tried but no time to ride.
I was hard core into mtn biking for a while in the 90's. I have a custom color Ibis Mojo which still wears all the original (top shelf at the time) components. That steel bike weighed less than the aluminum one it replaced. And was better performing in every way.
Land-Rovers (I have a 300Tdi 110 regular now) which I restored and equipped for expedition. Those expeditions were another hobby for a while.
Photography which became an income stream for a while. Until the magazine decided to no longer pay me. I have a case full of nice glass and a now worthless Canon EOS 1d.
Car and motorcycle restoration. All gone now but the last two were a 1967 Belvedere and a 1970 Yamaha DS6
Had a guitar making business for a while in the early 90's too.
Loved to play pool. I have a couple cues with value (Richard Black and a Mace) as well as three I made, so that is a hobby within a hobby!
I used to do a LOT of shooting, but the boss does not like guns so I'm down to two and never use them. I was doing precision rifle for fun and got way deep into ballistics of hand loading the .308 Winchester for my Remington 700P.
Now I just scour the earth for great cymbals and work on watches.
That is besides being a dad, which is my newest and best hobby!

I'm from Texas and I love high school football. I graduated from Katy High School, which is one of the most storied programs in the state. I've been to most Katy games since 2003 and I've seen us win five state championships in that time. We're tied for a state record with eight state championships and we've had an excellent run over the past 25 years. I'm very active in the online Texas high school football community and I keep as detailed records as I can of Katy's game-to-game stats.
These are photos from Katy's first four games this season: http://imgur.com/gallery/Khg9N. There were over 10,000 people at each of these games.
Currently looking for a 3-ply 24x14 Ludwig in champagne sparkle w/rail consolette and cymbal mount!
I picked one of the most unproductive hobbies to get into. GAMING. great for critical thinking skills but a waste of time otherwise unless you have down time. Fortunately it works out because my other hobbies include mountain hiking, driving aimlessly, and smoking cigars. When I dont have money for gas or cigars, I go hiking, get really sore then i sit down and game out. Usually I mix drumming into the gaming mix as well. Waiting on a loading screen? Pataflaflas!
BLAST AWAY.
