Apollo drums

From ardrummer

My main issue is the price of shipping the whole kit. There aren't a whole lot of MIJ collectors or drum collectors period where I live so I figure I would have to use ebay or reverb to sell them.

You could always....PLAY them. If they are the thinner shells - and you have never played the vintage MIJ thin shell drums - you might be shocked at how much you like them.

Note: I recommend you make sure the edges are true and good - then use new heads - and tune to the shell (a la the teaching of John Good at DW)

...and I agree with some others here that you would not have a problem finding a blue sparkle FT - even if you have to change out some lugs.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

I definitely would keep these if I had room for them. My drum room has 5 acoustic kits and 1 electronic kit. The two older kits I own are a 60's Pearl it and a 80's Ludwig S/L kit.
