Here's the "Ghost Kit" I transmogrified into the "Rustic Mahogany" kit. It was a lot of black paint! GAR has these now, minus the snare, and when he's done getting the carpet adhesive off the shells [dumbest thing I ever did], we'll maybe have some more pics of it reborn yet again...

This is a "Buddy" kit I put together back in 2003. The 14x22 bass drum and 16x14 floor tom were obtained together. The 9x13 rack tom was an orphan, as was the 16x16 Pearl Export floor tom. The 5.5x14 "Artist" snare drum was assembled from a new Keller shell. I purchased the WMP wrap from Jammin Sam. The set turned out great!

Bop iT / Til U Drop iT. Bop iT / Til U Drop iT.Here is a 1940 or so, brass badge 7x14 RK I rescued a few years ago. It had been spray painted blue even over the badge. Once stripped and cleaned, it was in great condition. Yes, the throws had been put back on incorrectly when it was painted. Put about 50 hours into that Drum.

How much horsepower you get`n these days out of the coffee table ?
I haven't been doing much on the drum front recently, so the regulars here will recognize these kits... The first is a large Slingerland kit I "overhauled" for my brother in law, and the second is a WFL kit that I still have, and have a detailed rebuild thread on... But since we are sharing, I might as well say hey ;)
