Today we had our first drum circle.

We played claves from mlayton and VTM2000, the First Act snare from FFR428, the timbales from jccabinets, and the Ludwig Standard snare and stand from idrum4fun. Although not solicited, we did have a cash donation and it partially went to some egg shakers for the time being....will probably get some mallets with the leftovers. I brought in an old Sherwood bass and a cymbal and stands....and my first real vintage snare I bought from VTM, a late 30s Radio King.

We had a blast !!!

Some of the guys have some real rhythm and are working on "Wipe Out" in their spare time. We have a real drummer in our midst, and he's helping out all the cats learn some licks.

This was great for our first time out, and we're looking forward to some more fun in the next few days.

Thanks for all the great gifts, I told the guys where the items have been coming from, and they are very grateful.

Looking forward to some more packages soon to add to the sessions!!!

Thanks, all !!

Kevin

Great news Kevin! Glad those timbales are getting some use. I thought of another idea also, if you need something specific just email me a link to it from Musicians Friend or other online store and I will purchase and have it shipped to you. This might work for others that dont have any gear you need.

Thank you!
