I can't believe this, I just bought the same kit here in oz, for a premium compered to $35 thought is was worth saving as an example of a kit of that era, same wrap.

Feeling the pressure here. I'll have to see how I go but if I end up doing the edges this project will take longer and I can hardly move in my drum room right now. I'll need to move this on pretty quickly

Still a pitty about the bearing edges though.... (sorry, no pressure inteneded. It's from my perspective, I would have had them done in one morning)

I know but I really needed to move this kit on as I couldn't swing a cat in my drum room let alone cut edges. It actually sounds alright although the snare not so much.

Anyway, it has found a new owner who wants something simple to learn on so I'll be able to move a little easier in my drum room...for now

Your new owner REALLY should get the edges cut and invest in new heads.....the difference will blow you all away......provided no shells are to extremely OOR. There is an acceptable variance for that actually. Tuning to the shell really results in good tone even if a shell is OOR.

....and BTW - just what I thought....looks gorgeous, even after starting with the 'horrific' condition. Previous owners usually get blown away and have sellers remorse after our hours of love....I mean 'labor'.

Swinging cats in drum rooms?! That's odd, why would one do that?!
