Either way...very nice kit. You might want to get some appropriate hardware to make it more correct...if you want. It would increase the salivary variable.
Ludwig Mod Orange?
13's used large Classic lugs and 12's used small Classic lugs.
And the Big Beat configuration was standard with a 22" bass drum, with the option for a 24" bass drum if I remember correctly.

Hi,
I have a 22" bass set. It's from March 68.
Hope this helps.
Let me know if I can help you some info you might still need.

Saz - By what I see in these pictures I have determined that I want your life. The full mod orange kit and the house by the river.

Is that mod orange piccolo original or a re-wrap? It looks great either way. I have an original 70's B/O canister with mine as well as a jazzfest re-wrapped in original mod orange. It looks pretty good. Love the bongo's too!

Hi,
I wrapped it with original Mod Orange wrap! The bongos are original though.
I finally got the last piece to the set last night. I'm going to take shots to replicate the magazine ads from the day down to the FREE splash cymbal they gave away with the new sets. Sometime this summer!

SAZ,
Great kit! I always get excited to see another kit like my own. Until I found this forum, I had never seen a MOD Orange kit -- in any configuration. Yours is definitely the most complete I've seen, and it appears to be in great shape. Congratulations on keeping it together and taking such good care of it. Do you play it regularly? I hope so.D' Drummer
