I use a quarter or nickel with mine. That is a top of the line Premier floor Tom, either a Projector or Resonator. Look inside and if you can't see the screws for the lugs and just smooth wood it is a Resonator. The flagship of Premier drums at the time. If you can see the screws for the lugs it is probably a Projector series. They are the same shells. One has a thin wood insert and the other doesn't. Clean that beauty up. The chrome should really shine up well. Those are die cast hoops too. Just the hoops are worth $40 to $50 each. That is one of the best sounding floor toms you could ask for. Dark wood is real African Mahogany, light is probably birch. Probably has birch rerings.

It is a sweet drum. I love the sound of it. A perfact floor tom.
