'73 Premier Silver Star

Loading...

Hi,

This is my new 1973 Premier Silver Star Kit in 22/13/16.

I found it in pretty good Condition on G..tree, UK. Included was a Hi-Fi Snare in 5 1/2" in Brushed Chrome which still needs a little Treatment.

After Cleaning Chrome and Shells (Floortom needed to be disassembled completely, lots of Rust...) I put on clear Remo CS Black Dot Heads and it sounds big like a good '70s Rock Kit should.

The only Thing that bugs me a bit, is that the BD Cymbal Mount sits a little to far to the Front so the Ride Cymbal without using the Boom (who would..) is not in the perfect Playing Position.

On my also '73 707 Kit the same Mounts sit in the Middle of the Shell and the Ride is in best Position.

With three Kits and Snares now my Premier Dream came true!

Thanks for Watching and Merry Christmas everyone!

Lars
