Yep, those did clean up nice. I've often wondered if I could negotiate visitation rights with the kid.

The great majority of those sets came with (excellent) COB snares, but yes, Pearl did briefly offer fiberglass snares to match. Good luck finding one, but it's cake making them out of concert toms. I have two myself and they sound lovely.

(Phenolic began 1966.)
