Sweet looking kit. I love breathing life back into neglected drums. It's my therapy!

I think you'll have better luck finding that badge as opposed to the earlier one. good luck. hope you can find one to complete the drum.

What's the story on these Mike? That's the kit I need man! lol. Well, not that finish, but if those are 3ply w/ rings Slingy style then that's what I'm on the hunt for!

the pic came from google. I do know that a dfo member owns a set of these. those might even be his. but I don't recall exactly who the member is.

Wow! Tat really is one gorgeous wrap. I don't think I've ever seen it before. That wrap is so sweet, you could set your coffee in the same room for a moment and wouldn't need sugar.

Yeah, the script 'Pearl' will be much easier to find. I needed one last year, and found it on eBay for ten bucks, shipped.

Congrats on the restore, and enjoy that fine, sweeter than candy drum!

Oh yeah, the picture of the kit... wow...

I actually paid a good bit for my snare. I didn't mind at all. I had wanted one this color for a long time. forum member on dfo posted it(he's a forum member here too) and I bought it right away. I paid 150 for mine. I actually had a few guys rag me about overpaying...whatever. I wanted it. I bought it. now its mine.done deal!

Mike I found where the pic originated. The set belongs to someone who is or was a member here. He last posted in 2010. I sent him a e-mail to see if he still has the kit. Maybe he's ready to sell it? Here's the original post http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=2173&highlight=pearl+president&page=2

NOTE: did a little research. His name is Isaac Carpenter and is currently the drummer with Adam Lambert, pretty cool!
