Pink diamond pearl snare ID

Picked this up this morning for $10., love the color. There's a vertical crack in the wrap but the seam is under the lug that's next to the crack and it has about a 1" overlap. My thoughts were to remove the small piece where the overlap is and gain enough to close the gap and re-cement in place. Any thoughts on what stencil it may be or the age? Looks like the badge (missing) was applied with two small tacks about 2 1/2" inches apart. All screws inside are straight. I'll post more pics after the repair and clean up. Rich.

pearl or other mij drum the knob is pearl

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Removed the wrap, re-glued it and repaired the gap in the wrap. Cleaned everything, threw some new heads and a set of snare wires, cranked it up tight and it sounds SWEET!!! Hey Mike did Pearl make 6 and 8 lug snares? This ones an 8 lugger

man, you did a great job on that. that's what its all about, bringing these old things back to life. well, mine is a 6 lugger and yours is an 8, so there's the answer to the question. ive got another pearl snare with this same badge. it too is a 6 lugger. it has no re-rings though. I see yours has the re-rings like mine does. again....nice job.

ive actually seen pics of a kit with this wrap. i'll see if I can find the pic..
