I´m sorry guys, but I guess I´m the only one who has the right answer to this thread.....WOMEN!!

Put your thoughts just for a while on these two scenarios:

1. Long hair guitarist, riding his Harley, with a 50´s Gibson Les Paul attached on the seat backrest.......guitar2

then ....

2. "We" the drummers, carrying a huge and massive Octaplus kit with a ton of hardware and brass into a old fashioned van.....

what do you people think will be the "blonde choice"??LoLoLoLo

Ok...I'll bet it is the same drum......how many of THEM are out there?not many....

From what I know there are 5 known 1935-36 L&L Anniversary Black Beauties out there...and obviously quite possibly more somewhere.

1. 5x14 Standard with Classic Gold Hardware.

2. 6.5x14 Standard with Classic Gold Hardware.

3. 6.5x14 Standard with chrome Hardware.

4. 5x14 Super-Ludwig with Classic Gold hardware.

This one is mine:

5. 5x14 Super-Sensitive with chrome hardware.

Especially what brushbaby said.

I am a recent arrival from the guitar world, and I feel like a kid in a candy store.

My main kit is a Slingerland New Rock in blue agate, and I also own 3 of the most iconic vintage snares (Ludwig Supraphonic, a WFL Barrett Deems/Jazz Festival, and COB Krupa Sound King).

For all of this put together, I have not spent $500.

People in the guitar world fantasize about going back 20 years to when you could still get vintage Guilds, Gretsches and Epiphones for under $500.

The vintage drum scene is like that now.

I don't know if my drum gear will eventually appreciate like the guitar stuff, but it's so fun to own and play a musical instrument that was the top of the line in my childhood.

The thing is a Guitarist still needs an Amp(the longer the Hair the bigger the Amp) and often a pedal board with a man bag of dirty leads pliers and those little dayglow packets of Ernie Ball strings. Mmmmm yummy.

And not all Drummers need a 15 million piece set. A 4 piece kit can fit snugly into a cool drop-top allowing said "Blonde" to feel the wind in her hair while slowly stroking your handbrake. Car Driving2

Anyway, it's all a moot point if you have someone else to sort the gear for you.
