Can't post to Cymbalholic.com

It would be a huge loss if Cymbalholics disappeared. It's a great site, with dedicated knowledgeable members, willing to share all they know. There's no other site like it. I wish it wasn't so much work for the admin. to keep it going, & hope it's back & running soon. I don't post there often, but check in daily. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Wish some of the Cymbalholic members that post there so often would do the same here, & get our cymbal department more active. It would be great to have more activity there......marko

It's getting rebuilt from the ground up. It is a shame we can't have an explanation up when you go to the site, but that should come when we get further along. When I say "we" I'm not actually doing the work -- other than making placating noises when people go "yikes". Cooked Egg

On Facebook, if you type Cymbalholic in the "Search for places, people things" box, there is a group of that name. Hit it, and you will be forwarded to a FB page where there is more news.

Years ago when a major problem kept Cymbalholic "off the air" for quite a while and it had to be rebuilt, I recall that some post history and everyone's post count was lost and we all had to start from scratch. Very annoying at the time.

Never posted here before. But the shutoff at Cymbalholic had me fishing for an answer. I see that some of my "worthy constituents" belong to VDF. I certainly miss the drum-and-cymbal chatter, and have my fingers crossed the site isn't shut forever.

So, hello, vintage fans. I see a lot of fine kits that leave me foaming at the mouth.

Welcome! There are a good number here that are long term members of Cymbalholic, like Zenstat. I don't contribute much but have been a member around 10 years. Cymbalholic had gone through something similar to this before and was off line for a few months a number of years ago. Hopefully they will be back and their absence this time will be shorter than it was back then

I wonder if they will be allowing new people to register once it's back up.
