...and the original fold down spurs were toast. I had some new-ish generic fold down spurs that nearly fit the original holes... wobbling two holes out slightly fixed that....

Fish,

When you called for the drilling advice and the tom arm, you should have told me about the spurs. I'm 99% sure I have a pair of the round-knob kind as well as the later 70s wing-nut variety... but, if you already had these (look like new Gibraltar?) it kept you from spending more...

Just thinking out-loud again...

Hey you guys, I am about to post a thread in the FS section (sometime this week). It is going to feature pics of a 1978 (appr.) set of these in WMP - 8 pc mint condition that my friend is selling (owns a music store). (8,10,12 - concert toms) ; 12,13,16,22,14sn COB Supersensitive (perhaps a Jupiter model technically). price will be 850 shipped (shipping included in this price).

Thought I would give you guys a heads up. I know you guys are way into these.

John

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

John,

Will be looking forward to seeing them! (not that I'm a potential buyer, but I sure like to look!)

Is the WMP original?

Morning Bill,

You know, I don't know if I even mentioned the spurs when we talked. I had already sized these up to see if they would work, and knew they would, with very little adaptation.

The kits been picked up now (sniff) so all I have is a photo... (sniff snort)
