Bill, probably just light sand with some 320 and spray with a clear gloss "rattle can" You should do a small test peice first, give it a couple days to make sure the two finishes get along. I had to spray some doors last summer that had an unknown finish on them. I was told by my rep to spray shelac on them first, then use my regular lacquer, you might consider doing that as a safe guard. Wish you did live closer!Jeff C

That's kinda what I was thinking, but thought I'd ask anyway.

The problem is that there will be no rattle-canning this week. We're in a winter storm warning AGAIN and this time it's supposed to drop a LOT of snow on us, starting late today and carrying through all night and until about noon tomorrow. The one last week was mostly ice/sleet for us.

I've been working in the house for the most part, so I need some good rattle-can weather!

Yeah, I can do that on a piece of the wrap before I even install it...

Thanks,

I really feel for you guys with the snow. I've had quite my fill of it the last storm we had here. 3' of snow against both my front and side doors. Lucky the front screen door had a storm window I was able to take out to get outside. LoLoLoLo this is looking out the front door at 8' drifts.

Still waiting for the snare drum shell, did not realize it took a month to get. BUt as soon as I do I will get it and the concert toms finished to go with the kit. Meanwhile, I just love these drums. If did plan to sell them I would be changing my mind. They really sound good and are solid all the way.

If you missed the pictures they are on page 17.

That's a long wait for the shell. Was it in stock? I forgot to ask what size snare your doing too. BTW don't forget if you still want me to make some labels for you let me know.
