I put Ambassadors on mine, top and bottom and they sound great ! Actually they had clear Ambassadors on the bottom and I put new coated ones on the batter sides.

Do the new ambassadors say made in USA on them? I think white coated heads will look the best but sound is everything. Considering Evans also.

Current coated ambassadoors are made in the USA. I just bought several for my D-20 kit.

All the factory supplied kits coming out of Asia seem to have the Asian made (and not very good sounding) Taiwan made Remo heads.

I think they will be a good choice for those drums too; either clear on the bottom or coated on both sides. Maybe clear to show off your interior badges...
