I guess that I had to have some big drums to work on, so here they are. The toms are 14x15, 16x16,16x18 and the bass is 16x26. I have finished the toms, so now the fun begins with the big bass drum. It has been re-wrapped and if I can get the wrap off, I would like to re-wrap it in red cortex. However, I have not located where I can buy the wrap yet. Anyone know where I can get it? Thanks, Tommy. Update, no luck yet on the wrap. However, the bass drum is naked! LOL

The white & black Cortex wrap are just Formica. Not sure about the red. Look at the Formica website. It is vertical grain, schedule 20. Most of the distributors will sell direct to home owners. If you have a business license, it will be a bit cheaper. It is around $85 for a 48" x 120" sheet which is more than plenty to do a 5 pc kit, even big drums like yours.....

Where are you located?

Since you're in Northwest Ohio, you might try any retailer that sells kitchens.

The Anderson's in Maumee, Lowes, Carter Lumber should have actual color

samples of laminates. I live in Findlay. Where are you??

We all understand slow. I prefer to call that "careful." :)

Hey, the drum looks good... what did you end up using for wrap?

My ex-wife used to say I was like Bob Villa on Quaaludes! I'd get the job done, but it would take me forever to do it because I'd do it in my own sweet time. :p

John

Too many great drums to list here!
