I am going to sell one of these (unless I can manage some miraculous financial feat!) but I am not sure which one. It will likely be several months before I get around to offing one if I do. Right now the Grey Shimmer is completely disassembled and clean - just waiting for edgework.....and the Grey Oyster is as it looks - all put together but not set up and not clean either. John

It would be a good second MIJ for me ... Star/20,12,14/9ply/Oyster to compliment my Pearl/20,13,16/3ply/Sparkle kit. Hi all,today I snagged this Star kit in a grey shimmer wrap - has anybody ever seen one like this before? I didn´t know Star offered this finish back in the day.I was really lucky to get all the drums and accessories pictured below for a price another guy would probably only sell the included cymbals for!Of course there was one hitch - I had to drive from Stuttgart to Cologne, about 400km one way. So I had to spend (almost!) the whole day on the German Autobahn. But - at that price I couldn´t resist. The bottom heads of both the toms, the front head and both the snare heads (and even the snares!) are original. The seller told me that he got this kit from it´s first owner, an old man, who had purchased it new back in the 60´s!Sorry for the crappy pictures, I only have a cell phone camera and the lighting is bad at the moment (4.00 AM in Germany).
