Nice looking!

Yes, Aria (like Santana, Luxor and more) were Hoshino brand names.

Not Star/Tama, not Pearl.

Here is one a few years younger:

Click on the picture for large version, click on the large for larger version!

Same lugs, also 8 on 12 and 13".

Do you have the parts needed?

Sweet find. Where does one locate these unheard of kits anyway? I never have the luck :)

I think the Hoshinos weren´t imported in the US - some american guys, that knows a lot about early Pearls and Stars, seems to be quite baffled when they see a picture of one....

So, just come to Europe!

We have (too) many of them....

Here is another I had for a short while:

Same age as the nice WMP one. This was in really fantastic condition, quite as new. Sold for the equivalent of 450$, good money for what it is.

My first kit was a little older, the toms hanging on "Spade-shaped" mounts, like old Ludwigs. Same not very good shells with very lousy bearing edges....

Lovely WMP on this kit. Great find will look fantastic cleaned up ready to go! Those tom mount consolettes are very cool. Looks pretty heavy duty. The spring loaded toothed adjustment is real nice on those. Congrats!
