thats funny! purdie shuffle(john) made that drum for me. i had a combo kit that didnt come with the floor tom. he found an nos late 50's/early 60's shell that hadnt been drilled except for badge and another hole or two,no lugs holes or anything else though. found all the hardware and miraculously found some of the new ludwig galaxy reissue wrap to cover it in. he did a jam up job on it. if not, i'd still be without a floor tom!

Thanks everyone!! A beautiful Christmas present indeed. I stinkin' love them! Wow! I did get a great deal didnt I? Granted that pawn store one has a snare, its not in as good condition though! Thanks for posting that stallwart!

I need to throw some new hoops and heads on the toms, but for bringing them home and tuning them a little they dont sound too bad! Not to mention how clean they look for being 45 years old :)

What do you guys think? Safehoops for toms with remo vintage A's on top and Ambassador clears on bottom?

Also, I plan on cleaning them up just a bit. I hear novus works great for the wrap and soaking the hardware in soap and water for a couple days work wonders, then letting them dry and applying turtle wax chrome polish. Good call?

I will hopefully throw a few more pics up soon :D the pics I have now are too big >:0!
