vintage sonor drumset help

I will post better pics. Inside it looks like someone has stained them. I took the bass drum heads off I will see. I had a guy email me today asking for justthe pedal and the 3 shells. What s good price. Not sure what to sell them for If I sell them. If you guys owned them what would you do with them.

The beech shells are good shells if in round and flat. You could rewrap and have a nice little jazz set. It's a shame but you can't put teardrop style lugs on them due to different spacing on the mountings. You can replace with aftermarket lugs and get a nice result. The plastic lugs are ok but are subject to cracking if you over tighten them. In my opinion, If you restored or refreshed them you would only have a set worth $200 to $250 in today's market. They'll never be a collector kit but will make a nice player set. I know, I own one. I got mine for $100 including the matching snare, hi hat stand and a Speedking pedal. Halfway through the resto now.

As is, if you can get $150 for everything I think you would be doing well.

Cool If you can send pics let me see how yours is coming out. Are you going to play yours or sell it. I may keep it. Have have alot of people in my area intrested in trading. We will see what happens
