Thanks guys,

Check this out: the tensioners for the bottom head are reverse threaded so when it's on a stand all the lugs turn the same direction.

I thought that was really cool.

Even all my new drums don't do that.

The OP never actually says that he bought the drum. I think he's just saying "hey, look at this". There is a thread in the WTB section that shows the exact same picture; from a museum.

I always thought there was an unwritten rule in this section to not post anything that you didn't own personally. Am I wrong?

Maybe I'm totally off-base and it's sitting the OP's living room.

Dude!

What in the hell are you talking about?

You are totally off base.

The guy who posted in the wtb section was trying to buy this drum from me and I told him I didn't want to sell it.

He is using my pic in his post.

That pic is not from a museum.

That pic is from in my basement.

You must really be bored.

Did you not see the video I posted of me "touring" the drum and playing it?

Chill. My apologies. I left open the door that I was off-base, and in this case I was mistaken. I meant no harm. Since your quotes were from a museum, I assumed the picture was as well; my mistake. As far as your potential buyer, I've never seen anyone post a picture other than an archive photo of an item they wanted. Plus, it's weird that he would advertise in the WTB section, when he knows your drum is a one of a kind, I'm sure.

Peace. And no I'm not bored.

I'm sorry but I don't like my intention or integrity questioned by someone who doesn't even know me.

Carry on. The Band
