Hello guys.
I have been on the hunt for a smaller size kit for knocking around with.
I found the (very nice) Yamaha Club custom birch kits to be quite nice, and I also found a few years old Sonor maple kit for about the same money, but it is a bit if a haul to go get that (still tempting me)...
I found an old Yamaha kit, a bit closer and quite a bit less expensive not too far away. Downside is it is clearly missing some parts, and I have no idea how difficult it will be to source those parts. It looks like the following are missing:
12" hoop and all the tension screws for it. (maybe other tension screws also missing?)
20" kick hoop, as well as 8 claws and t-rods (maybe more t-rods missing- hard to tell)
Tom mount- not the end of the world, since I'll probably use a snare stand for the 12" tom, but it would be cool to have it. And it may be there too- I can't tell in the pictures.
Stands and maybe a matching snare? It is a red streaked finish (not sure of name) that looks OK in the crappy pictures... Worst case I'll re-wrap it, but it would be cool to preserve the original finish if I can.
Any tips, tricks, sources of supply, experts on these old drums etc. greatly appreciated.
I sent a PM to the owner of these:

So maybe he knows some places to get parts...
It might be cool to have the old and new Yamaha technology represented...Cool1
Thanks in advance to everyone!Clapping Happy2
