I didn't have any eye bolts handy but here's a smaller screw type so you'll see what I mean. The eye bolts are threaded for nuts/wingnuts.

I actually had a old rubber foot that was on the leg when i got it. It was broke and pushed all the way through. I just pushed it up to the mount to hold the leg in place. As I played the drum it kept sliding on me so I went to the store to get a metal band to tighten the rubber and keep it from sliding. Thats when I saw the eye bolt. Anywho I wanted to beat on those drums so bad and the eye bolt would have taken more time. Not a lot of extra time but just enough to keep me from trying it yet! D' Drummer

Well if that is the case you can always use a hose clamp. Drummers have used those for years as a pseudo "memory-lock" when none was available. I would suggest wrapping that area of the leg in electrical tape prior to installation so as to not mar the leg. Also, I would not use that as a permanent solution as the hose clamp will eventually scuff the finish of the underside of your leg mount.
Don't forget to purchase some air cushioned feet for your floor tom legs. You will be amazed at the improvement in tone.
