My Premier Vintage kit

Loading...

Just for future reference, you can post up to 5 pics each post - no need to post a bunch of posts one at a time.

Gotta say also - NICE kit! I love those interior shots! Surely those are going to be high quality and sound great! I used to have a Premier and was very happy with the QC.

Cool1

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

thanks, it gives me a start. the rack tom and kick drum are darker in color and the floor tom is lighter. i just took of the top and bottom heads and cleaned with a cloth and i dont think the reso heads and rims have been cleaned in years or replaced! i could smell that old wood smell and should of seen the dust on the table! i wouldnt mind taking of the wrap for a closer inspection under it, but i am a bit worried that i will struggle to get it back on. the wrap is screwed on the floor tom and kick and the rack tom is pretty much held on by the lug casings/tom mount and glue. have any of you guys seen this before? my first vintage kit and only been drumming for nearly 10 years, so this is new to me.

No - resist that temptation. Just give it a good clean with a plastic polish, change the heads, grease the threads. Enjoy.

Changed heads top, bottom, wiped shells with damp cloth and let it dry, greased lugs/casings and cleaned hoops. I see that everyone talks about oiling there shells, is that something to consider or do?
