likely; if I knew how to communicate with the seller and likely they wouldn't want to ship to Canada, though. Looks like it is a drum from around 1956 or '57 and needs a snareside head and wires. The head is no issue but original wires for this drum are very scarce. A decent retrofit can be made up , however., Trixon used those hoops for only about 6 or 8 years. Although they look big and cumbersome , they are a rather elaborate version of what are commonly called "sticksavers" and are a sweet hoop to play-----one of the best.

You can write in english, and any swede would understand. Like any dane, finn or norwegian would. We have english in school - now from first class here in Denmark.

And if you pay, I have no experience with people being against shipping abroad - it really is the same bother to post to the next town as to the other side of the world.

So donĀ“t hold yourself back!

Regards

Jon

Sellers phonenumber is:

+4673 963 41 04

To mail him, simply click the word "Mejla" witch is written in blue text under the desciption of the drum.

I have no idea who the guy is, just thought it might interest someone on this forum.

Well. I emailed and had one back. I was just in the process of arranging a payment option and a shipping fee when I received 2 death threats from the guy--------- me and my family. Either he is a complete whack job or his email is being hacked. Goes by the name of Hans Bjork but comes from the email of Milton Pallin. very peculiar. He apparently has cohorts everywhere and you can't run and hide.

This sounds absolutely crazy......

I will try to contact the seller and see if I can sort things out. -There has been reports of people from abroad trying to rip sellers off by telling them to ship the gods after they have presented fake PayPal recipts.

I suspect that the seller though that you were trying to pull a scam.

Ok, I finally spoke to the seller. It turns out he is an old retired police officer. And, he seems to suffer from really serious paranoia.

He was convinced that the reason you wanted his bank account number, was to empty his account.

i feel somewhat quilty here, after all I am the one who posted his add om the forum. Sorry for this. Hope you guys will find a nice drum somewhere else.

Actually, I never asked for his bank account #. I asked for him to give me a shipping price( which he didn't) and then I asked if he might have paypal. He seemed to be stuck on a direct bank transfer, and to this end he voluntarily supplied his bank account details. I realize that direct bank transfers are commonplace in parts of Europe. It is not so common here and also costs a bundle to send an e transfer from a Canadian bank to Europe, with an undisclosed fee being deducted by the receiving bank.-----so I suggested a paper transfer, through the mail, which costs me nothing and the receiver nothing to deposit and clear it. A simple solution , which costs time only.

After that ,me and my family received two death threats., kind of childishly written and poorly spelled.------- I have no idea what he is on about.

maybe all the banana boxes piled up in the picture ,might be a clue?
