Ludwig Canister throne

One of you Vintage Drum Gurus sent me a canister throne top to reupholster. I have been on a mission to find the correct catches for this. I found the exact Brass Draw Catch for it, but I cant find the hook catch for it. I did find something that might work though. Does anyone have one? Here's a few pics of what we're looking for.

hey poppy!

oh my gosh! i'm looking for one of the latch things that you found!

i had a quick look on the internet but the only one that i can find is a gold looking brass one - whereas yours looks like its chrome or something???

Mine is brass. You can find one a home depot, lowes, ace hardware, sutherlands. Cost under $4

There are countless latches, hasps, and catches. If it werent for the badge location you could use two of the draw catches.....The one I found is very similar to the original. It also has the galvinized finish like the original. Ill send it to ya anyway.....

yeah there's always got to be a bump in the road on these ole restro jobs!!! But since I've not seen but one other WFL canister throne I want to get this one back to as useful as possible it's going to get used not to look at.

THe throne has a gold / brass latch on one side and a silver / zinc latch on the oppisite side. Here are pics of the gold / brass latch I found.
