Some very nice kits everyone has! I love the color too. Walking So nice!!!

Crash, good tip on the PlastX I'll have to try some of that stuff. My floor tom has some type of chemical stain drips etched in the wrap. It starts shows through the polish I used after a week or so. I plan to strip the hardware off that one and redo it again with something a little more aggressive.

John, what are those little squares on your drum heads? Is that the moon gel stuff I've seen mentioned here before?

In time I hope to find a matching SBP snare for my kit. On the wish list. LOL.

drums2xs - You're going to have to get your own, buddy! Mine goes to the grave with me. lol

Fer - Yarp... Moon-Gel she be. I don't like to use muffling at all, but when I do, I cut up small squares of Moon-Gel and place them just over the drum head logo near the rim. Cuts out just a tiny bit of the over-ring without touching the fundamental tone. Good stuff.

BTW, I've been known to use Gummy-Bears in a pinch! Lick their back-side and stick em on the drum! And no, you don't have to marry them first...

John

I can see why! Is that a Maxwell rail on there? I've used a couple on vintage drums, they not only look great, the suckers work well!

Fer - If you use the Gummy-Bears at an outdoor gig, it's not your daughter you'll have to worry about - as much as, the 10,000 ants that will be crawling up your leg to get to them! lol
