Brook Mays Rogers

Loading...

Well, I bought this Rogers kit and I believe it's the one distributed by Brook Mays, it has the beaver tail lugs and the Rogers script badge with a Yamaha yess mounting system. There are no extra holes, so it must have come this way. The shells look to be maple with a clear coat on the interior.

That kit will possibly be of some value someday, they are fairly rare. Very few were produced. If Brook Mays had not been caught up in the lawsuit..... there would be real modern Rogers drums being made now. Instead of that crap yamaha is putting out. I think you did well.

Could you post a measurement of the center to center measurement of the lug screws?

Do you mean the distance between each lug from the resonant to the batter side?

Distance between the two screws on one lug. Its not a measurement that has ever been posted. I wanted to see how it compared to vintage Rogers.

Don't have the exact measurement, but know from experience they are different on the double ended lugs.

Here's the inside of the 14x14 floor tom, the length between each screw is 1 3/4 inches.
