Since I don't watch TV, I had to go with Bacon & Boobs...who needs to practice if you already have what we all started playing for to begin with...food and chicks! Yes Sir

I practice on a couch cushion while I watch the tube. Been doing that for over 40 years.

Too many great drums to list here!

My wife listens to the sounds of drums coming up through the floor boards on almost a daily basis and never says a word.

Practice while watching TV? Not if I want to keep domestic bliss going. Everyone has their breaking point!

My pad's in the garage. I'll grab the sticks and do a little fooling around while I'm out there, but would rather play the kit.

As for the B & B reference, one gives you clogged arteries and the other.....well.....nevermind.

Nope. Never played on a pad while watching TV, unless it was a drum instruction video. I hardly watch TV, though. When I DO practice on a pad, I pay close attention to what I'm doing, how it sounds, and how it feels. TV would just distract me from improving my chops/musicality. Practice, for me, isn't about "just going through the motions"...it's serious business!

I am the weird one who tries hard to do two completely different things at the same time, like sing and play drums, for example.

Oddly enough, if I can keep a beat whilst watching tele or listening to the radio (which is how I stay up with the Stl. Cards until it's hockey season), it helps me be able to do two completely different things at the same time.

Yes, in the case of playing whilst watching tele, it's mainly to keep limber; but I like taxing my brain's ability to manage multi-tasking!!!
