I saw the invoice.It was from a music store that went out of business. Also found an NOS Maestro rotating speaker from that place, as well.
It could have been from the 60's then. Often there's a considerable lag time between an the cymbal was made, stored in the vault and then shipped to the store. Then finally sell after spending time on the shelf. I am not aware of any jumbo sized cymbals made later the 1960's.
Just for example I bought two 26" cymbals back in the 1980's from Drums Limited in Chicago. One was late 1950's, and the other was early 1960's. Zildjian said they just wanted to get rid of their last inventory of these size.
I recall it had a large stamp. And yes- it could have been sitting around before it shipped. I assumed it was from the '70s only from the invoice.
It was fun, but it was worth more gone than in my kit.
