Rarity & Value of a Trixon kit

Hi guys, once again I am calling on the experts here to give me some much needed input. I'm looking at buying this Luxus 0/200 Trixon kit. The year is 1966 in what I believe is grey vertical pearl wrap. The drums are in amazing condition as they are original owner who has had them in storage cases for the last 20+ years. The sizes are 20, 13, 16 with a 1971? Rogers Dynasonic (Ser#26731). The seller even has the original owners manual for the dynasonic. The kit comes with the following:

- soft cases for toms and bass

- hard case for base

- original Trixon throne (seat is ripped)

- Zildjian 20'' ride and 14'' hats purchased around 1970/71

- 18'' Zildjian crash purchased used in 68/69 which he said was old then

- ludwig speed king pedal

- what looks like a Star hi hat stand and 2 Star cymbal stands

- Premier snare stand

- 1 pair of ludwig sticks still in the wrappers

- 1 pair of mallets still in the wrappers

- stick holder

Other than the original hardware and snare MIA the only other issue is the bass drum is missing the front hoop (he has all of the claws and T rods) and both of the mufflers need parts to make them whole again.

He is asking $700 for the entire kit. I have zero experience with Trixon so I have 3 questions:

1 - How rare are these kits in this condition?

2 - Does this price seem fair? (I know the dynasonic itself is worth quite a bit)

3 - How hard and costly would it be to acquire the original hardware and bass hoop?

I have searched ebay, but have found very little in the form of vintage Trixon. I also searched the Trixon website via the badge page on the VDG.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Excited

Deano, you should be a lucky guy ... Should feel like Xmas + birthday together, when you hold it in your hands.

Must say that I never saw this wrap before - neither at Trixon's nor at any other kit. Absolutely georgeous looking drumset.

Point 3: well, that's an issue. I not into deep Trixon's, but you could by a chrome hoop with black inlay, put it at the batter side and noone will ever notice that. Genuine hardware is rare, too. Perhaps this link helps you out:

BTW, I'd be interested in that STAR hardware, if you wonna get rid of it. PM me lateron.

GREAT Find!!

I have bits of a Red Sparkle Speedfire, I only have two concert toms and snare. Would love the rest to go with it some day! Have a bit of work to get the whole kit, but you never know what might pop up.

Shouldn't be that hard to find the claws/rods,should it?

Look on eBay Germany...........
