I just bought a pair of Zildjian 60s vintage hi-hats (or so advertised) because I love that older washy sound that Ringo has. The sound file that the seller put up on eBay for these sounds almost exact to what Ringo's hats sounded like. However, the stamps on them are somewhat faded and I'm afraid that I may have been misled. One cymbal's stamp looks 60s, but I can't tell if it has the three dots on the logo. The other looks awfully close to a 70s thin stamp, and I can't be for certain if there are three dots or not. Maybe it's late 50s/early 60s?

So...I asked the seller about it and this was his reply: "Yes these were both made in the 60s, they are matching earlier 60s stamps, they are bigger than the 70s stamp." Does that make sense?
